We are a traditional English pub set in the peaceful village of Southwick, surrounded by beautiful countryside and Northamptonshire stone cottages. Affectionately known as ‘The Shuck’, we are all about offering a place for friends and family to meet, relax and enjoy food and drink in our tastefully renovated, cosy pub.

It's as much about daytime as evenings here . We offer a great spot for walkers and cyclists to stop off for refreshments or kick start their adventures with a tasty breakfast. Make us your place to meet friends and family for lunch, share a grazing board or enjoy barista coffee with homemade cakes. Evenings at The Shuck are made for drinks in our cosy bar or watching the sunset in our lovely garden. We are proud to serve local beers on tap from Nene Valley Brewery, craft gins from Cambridgeshire’s Roundwood Distillery, Saxby's Cider and wines carefully selected by the local experts at Amps, amongst other alcoholic and soft drinks.

At the heart of the community, we hold regular quiz nights, seasonal events and even a book club! Dogs are made very welcome as well as walking and cycling groups.
